TOMATO RICE SEVAI


Serves : 3 adults

PREPARATION :-

  • Take 200 gms of rice sevai into bowl. To this add Sufficient boiling water and put lid.



  • After 5 mins strain the sevai and cool it.




  • Chop 6 tomatoes and grind them .





  • Heat a pan add 3tbspns oil , Add 1tspn urad dal , 1/4 tspn cumin seeds , 1/4 tspn mustard seeds ,1 tbspn bengal gram and 6 chopped green chillies. Fry them nicely.



  • Add 2 strigs of curry leaves , add 1 chopped onion . When it turns golden add 1/4 tspn ginger garlic paste and fry nicely til it looses raw smell.





  • Add ur grinded tomato juice / puree.



  • Add 1tspn salt , 1/4tspn chilly powder , 1/4 tspn garam masala powder ,1/2 tspn coriander powder and add 5 strigs of chopped coriander leaves. Mix all nicely.





  • By this time oil oozes out of tomato puree. Now add strained rice sevai and mix nicely.




  • When it turns hot switch off stove and put lid .



  • Serve after 2 mins.
