PREPARATION :-
- Take handful of mint leaves and half a handful of coriander leaves. clean them.
- In ur mixcy container add mint leaves , coriander leaves , 2 chopped green chillies , 1/4 tspn garam masala powder , finger sized fresh coconut piece chopped into small pieces,1 chopped tomato , 1/2 tspn ginger garlic paste , 1/4 tspn coriander powder and 1/4 tspn cumin powder . Grind them nicely.
- Add little amount of water and grind again into a smooth paste.
- Chop 5 green chillies , 1 medium size onion , 1 potato , 1 carrot & 10 french beans .
- Now heat a pan add 3 tbspns oil , Add 3 cloves , 3 green cardamoms , cinnamon stick , 2 star anise , pinch of nut mug powder , 1/4 tspn shajeera , 2 bay leaves , 2 japatri (mace).
- Immediately add chopped green chillies , onion . When it is golden colour add 1/2 tspn ginger garlic paste .
- When it looses raw smell add chopped potato , chopped carrot , french beans , 1/4 cup green peas. Add 1/4 tspn salt and mix all nicely.
- When vegetables r half done add ur grinded paste and fry nicely till it looses raw smell .Dont forget to stir continously.
- Now add 1 & 1/2 glass of water and 1 & 1/2 tspn salt.
- When it boils fully add 1 glass of presoaked basmati rice (30 mins presoaked ).
- In final stage i.e when u have little amount of water remaining , squeeze juice of half lemon and mix nicely . Donot stir again .
- When it is done switchoff and serve after 10 mins.
Note :- U can do this in ur electric cooker also.

ReplyDeleteI love to try your recipes.They all taste yummy.I have a question regarding the Pudina rice recipe.You mentioned one glass of Rice in the recipe.Is that equal to one electric rice cooker cup or something else?Please let me know.

Hi chandu , 1 glass= 250ml or else equalent to 2 electric rice cooker cups of rice.Hope i cleared ur doubt.
