BENDAKAYA KURA / OKRA CURRY





INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :-

Okra :20-25

oil : 3tspns

onions : 1

green chilly :1

curry leaves : 1 strig

ginger garlic paste : 1/4 tspn

tomato :1

salt : 3/4tspn

chilly powder : 1/2 tspn

turmeric : 1/4 tspn

Everest sabzi masala : 1/2 tspn

coriander leaves : 4 strigs

PREPARATION :-

  • Chop green chilly , onion, tomato and okra.

  • Heat a pan add oil . If u want u can do seasoning.

  • Add green chilly , onions.

  • When they r fried add ginger garlic paste.

  • When it looses rawness add chopped bhendi and mix well . After 2 mins add Half of the salt and mix well.

  • When bhendi boils fully add tomato and mix well.

  • When tomato becomes mushy add remaining salt , chilly powder , turmeric , sabzi masala and coriander leaves. Mix well and Put a lid.

  • Switch off stove after 5 mins.

  • Tasty bhendi curry is ready to serve with rice/roti.

    hi preethi,
    discovered ur bolg very recently.nice illustration of the recipes.tried ur okra curry with exception of using subzi masala...but it was too good.
