STUFFED BHENDI










INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :-

Ladies fingers / okra :15

oil : 1 tbspn

FOR STUFFING :-

bengal gram flour / besan flour / senaga pindi : 6 tspns

salt : 1/2 tspn

chilly powder : 1/2 tspn

turmeric :1/4 tspn

coriander powder :1/4 tspn

cumin powder : 1/4 tspn

lemon juice : less than 1/2 lemon

oil : 2 tspns

PREPARATION :-

  • First wash okra and dry them .

  • Cut each okra into 1 inch size pieces.

  • Take a bowl and add all the ingredients under stuffing including oil . if u add oil u can easily stuff besan flour into okras. Mix well.

  • Now stuff the mixed flour into okras .

  • Heat a pan add oil and add stuffed okras and mix well .

  • Take a bowl that best fits to ur pan and fill it with water and put it on ur pan (aviri mutha).

  • Till they are well cooked stir them inbetween and when they r cooked remove the water bowl.

  • Rise the flame to medium high and fry them till they r slightly roasted.

  • Tasty stuffed okras are ready to serve with rice and ghee.
