CAPSICUM CURRY







SERVINGS : 4 ADULTS

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :

capsicum : 4 medium sized

onions : 3 medium size

fresh coconut : 1/2 a full coconut

greenchillies : 4

salt : 1 tspn

curry leaves : 10

urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds : altogether 1/2 tspn

dry red chilly : 1

oil : 2tbspns

turmeric : 1/4 tspn

coriander leaves : 10 strigs

PREPARATION :

  • First chop capsicums and onions

.

  • Grind coconut, greenchillies and 1/2 tspn salt.

  • Heat a pan add oil, urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry red chilly, curry leaves, onions and capsicum ( add all one by one )

  • When onions and capsicum are half cooked add 1/2 tspn salt and turmeric.

  • When capsicum is fully cooked add coriander and grinded coconut-mirchi paste and fry well and switchoff stove after 5 mins.

  • ur capsicum curry is ready to serve with rice or rotis.

    preethi i never tried with coconut it looks yummy hhhmmm instead i use groundnut powder.....will try it in ur way
