PREPARATION :-
- Heat a pan add 1 tspn oil , add 1/4 tspn cumin , 1/4 tspn mustard seeds . Add 2 glasses of water .
- When water is boiling add 1/4 tspn turmeric . Add 1 glass of biyyapu rava (1 glass = 250gms rava).
- Stir continously for a min and put a lid . When it cooks completely switchoff stove and open lid after 10 mins.
- Cool the cooked content in a big bowl.
- Before starting all the above process soak 2 lemon sized tamarind in sufficient water. After 15 mins takeout the juice.
- Heat a pan add 2 tspns oil , add 1/4 tspn cumin seeds, 3 broken dry red chilies , 4 vertically slitted green chillies , 1 strig of curry leaves , sprinkle little asafoetida. When green chillies r fried add tamarind extract , 2 tspns salt , 1/4 tspn turmeric , a small piece of jaggery. Stir nicely and boil this for 10 mins.
- In another pan add 2tspns oil , add 2tspns uraddal , 3 tbspns peanuts , 2 tbspns bengal gram, 2 broken dry red chillies , 1/2 tspns mustard and cumin seeds , Add 4 vertically slitted green chillies , sprinkle little hing , add 2 strigs of curry leaves . fry all nicely .
- So at this point of time both ur boiled tamarind and seasoning are ready.
- Now in ur cooled rava add tamarind extract and seasoning . Mix nicely .
- Serve after half an hour .
