PEAS PULAV / MATTAR CHAWAL



INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :-

Basmati rice : 3/4 of a glass (1 glass = 250gms rice)

Frozen peas : 1/4 glass

onion :1

green chillies :4

mint leaves : 5-6

Ginger garlic paste : 1 tspn

Cashews : 5

Curry leaves : 1 strig

Milk : 1/4 glass

Water : 1 & 1/4 glass

salt : 2 spns

lemon : 1/2

coriander leaves : 5 strigs

Whole garam masalas :

cloves : 5

cardamoms :4

cinnamon stick : 2 " piece

star anise :2

nut mug powder : pinch

Mace : 2

Marati mogga :2

Shajeera : 1/4 tspn

Bay leaves :3

PREPARATION :-

  • Soak rice for 30 minutes.

  • Heat a pan add 2 spns oil and 2spns ghee.

  • Add whole garam masalas , cashews and fry well.

  • Add Green chillies , onions and mint leaves. When onions turn golden colour add ginger garlic paste and fry till it looses rawness.

  • Add peas and fry for 5 mins.

  • Add milk and water . Add salt and mix well.

  • When it boils add strained rice and mix well.

  • Squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon and add curry leaves , coriander leaves .

  • When air holes appear on top put ur flame on sim.

  • After 5 mins switchoff stove and dont remove the lid for next 10 mins.

  • Serve hot with any spicy curry.

Isari meeru mi intiki velli napudu akada greenary photos, akada environment photos teeyachu kada ma lanti valu chusi happy ga vuntaru,manchi idea kadu, even small things we are missing so much about India.
