DONDAKAYA KURA / TINDORA CURRY




INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :-

Dondakayalu / tindora : 20

onion :1

tomato :1

oil : 2 tspns

green chilly :1

ginger garlic paste : 1/4 tspn

salt : 1/2 tspn

chillypowder : 1/4 tspn

turmeric : 1/4 tspn

everest sabji masala : 1/4 tspn

coriander leaves : 3 strigs.

PREPARATION :-

  • Chop tindoras , onion , tomato and green chilly.

  • Heat a kadai add oil.

  • When it is heated add green chilly , next add onions.

  • After 2 mis add ginger garlic paste and mix well.

  • Add chopped tindoras , mix well and put alid.

  • When it is halfdone add 1/4 tspn salt.

  • Fry it nicely till they r perfectly cooked. It takes little more time than other vegetables.

  • When it is done add chopped tomato .

  • When it becomes mushy add remaining salt , chillypowder , turmeric , Everest sabji masala and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.

  • Put lid and switchoff the stove after 5 mins.

  • Serve with rice / rotis.
