SERVES : 2
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :-
Poha / atukulu : 1 & 1/2 glass (1 glass = 250 ml quantity )
Onions :2 medium
tomato :1 big
salt :1 tspn
turmeric : 1/2 tspn
coriander leaves :5 strigs
FOR SEASONING :-
oil :1 tbspn
urad dal :1 tspn
dry red chilly :1
ground nuts : 1/2 a handful
bengal gram : 2 tbspns
cumin seeds : 1 tspn
mustard seeds : 1/2 tspn
asafoetida : sprinkle little
Green chillies :5
curry leaves : 1o
PREPARATION :-
- First chop onions , green chillies , tomato.
- Take a big bowl and fill it with water till half and pour poha / atukulu in it and wash them like rice and squeeze them with hand and put them in another bowl. To this add 3/4 tspn salt and 1/4 tspn turmeric and mix well.
- Heat a pan and do seasoning by adding all ingredients under SEASONING.
- Next add onions and fry well .
- After onions are fried add chopped tomato .
- After tomato is well cooked add 1/4 tspn turmeric and 1/4 tspn salt , coriander leaves and mix well.
- Next add poha / atukulu and mix well. switchoff stove when they become hot and put a lid .
- Serve after 5 mins.

Hai preethi thanks for the recipe...but can u tell me how to make the poha as flakes..,when i made it instead of flakes it appeard as dumps..thanks in advance.
