INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :-
Mirchis : 6
oil : 5 tbspns
FOR SALAN :-
coconut : 1/4 of a small coconut
ginger : 1 inch
garlic : 5 pods
salt : 1 tspn
chilly powder :1/2 tspn
turmeric : little
onions : 2
tamarind : lemon sized ball.
cashews :3
LIST 1:-
poppy seeds : 2 tspns
cloves :5
cardamoms :4
LIST 2 :-
Peanuts : 1/2 cup
coriander seeds : 1 tbspn
sesemam seeds : 2 & 1/2 tspns
cumin seeds : 1 & 1/2 tspn
dry red chillies : 3
fenugreek seeds :10
PREPARATION :-
- Wash mirchis and cut them vertically from stem to other end on one side like how we do for mirchi bajji and take out the seeds from it.
- In a pan heat 1 tbspn oil and fry this mirchis till they turn brownish.
- Take them into a plate.
- In the same pan fry onions.
- Take another pan and dry fry ingredients under LIST 1 and grind them.
- In the same pan dry fry ingredients under LIST 2 .
- Grind them along with cashews ,coconut , ginger , garlic, salt ,chilly powder , turmeric and fried onions. grind along with LIST 1 grinded powder.
- Add tamarind juice and grind again. With this ur salan is ready.
- Now heat first pan and add 4 tbspns oil and fry this paste. u can add 1/2 tumbler water.
- In Final stage add fried mirchis and fry them till oil separates out.
- ur tasty mirchi ka salan is ready to serve with biryanis or fried rice.

ur husband is really lucky to get u preethi...lolz
I tried this curry this week....and believe me i was not at all confidant while cooking...
But it came out good and but got a comment that it tasted same like what i cooked last week(capsusicum masala).
Anyways I was satisfied
