POTATO CURRY FOR ROTI






INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :-


Potatoes :3


onions :2


tomato :1 big


green chillies : 3


oil :1 tbspn


cloves :3


cardamoms :3


cinnamon stick :1 inch pieces -2


ginger garlic paste : 1 tspn


curry leaves : 1 strig


fenugreek powder :pinch


water : 1/2 glass


coriander leaves : 5 strigs





POWDERS :-


salt : 1/2 tspn


chillypowder : 1/2tspn


coriander powder :1/2 tspn


cumin powder : 1/4 tspn


garam masala powder : lessthan 1/4 tspn


turmeric : 1/4 tspn








PREPARATION :-



  • First boil potatoes and peelout their skin and cut them into pieces.


  • Chop onions , tomato , greenchillies.


  • Heat a pan add oil , cloves , cardamoms , cinnamon sticks , greenchillies , onions and ginger garlic paste , add all one by one and fry them nicely.


  • After onion is fried add tomato and boil it fully .


  • To the boiled tomato add all the POWDERS and mix well.


  • Now add chopped potatoes and mix well . fry for 2 mins.


  • Add water according to ur required consistency .


  • When it starts boiling add coriander leaves .

  • If u want u can add descinated coconut.

  • switchoff stove when it boils fully.

  • Tasty potato curry is ready to serve with rotis.

    i always wondered what dishes we generally have with chapathis.

    1.Egg bhurji
    2.Dal curries
    3.alu chana curry
    4.blacked eyed peas curry
    5.cauliflower masala
    6.potato curry
    7.ridge gourd curry
    8.bottle gourd curry with milk
    9.cucumber curry.
    never ending list aparna.
