serves : 2 adults
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :-
Chama dumpalu / taro roots : 6
eggs :2
onion :1
green chilly :1
oil : 2 tspns
fenugreek seeds : 1/2 tspn
curry leaves : 1 strig
asafoetida : little
salt :1 & 1/4 tspn
chilly powder : 1/4 tspn
turmeric : 1/4 tspn
jaggery : small piece ( marble size piece)
tamarind : small lemon size
water :1 tumbler (250ml)
coriander leaves : 3 strigs
PREPARATION :-
- First soak tamarind in 1/4 glass water .
- Boil eggs and remove their shell , put cuts on them.
- Wash taro roots nicely and boil them in cooker for 4 whistles.
- Heat a pan add oil , fenugreek seeds , when it is fried add green chillies , sprinkle little asafoetida and add curry leaves, onions and fry well.
- when onions are fried add peeled out chama dumpalu / taro roots and fry for 5 mins.
- Add salt , chilly powder , turmeric , jaggery and tamarind juice and add remaining 3/4 glass water and mix well.
- When it boils fully add eggs and coriander leaves and let it boil for 5 mins .
- switchoff stove and serve hot with mudda pappu / toordal and rice.

Mi kura variety ga vundi. Maku telisina Aunty bendakayalu eggs combination thoti koda chesaru, naku chala nachindi. Chikudu garelu never heard that before. Meeru ekada Preeti origin, apart from chennai.

Actually chikkudu garelu is my inlaws dish. This dish is very famous in the regions of badrachalam . One more thing is normally they donot deep fry them.
They do as "ginna rotte " . they take a thick bottomed eethadi ginna and on it they will press it and put it on stove.
Anyway chama dumpa & egg pulusu was too good u also try it and have it with muddapappu.
I LOVE all ur recipes...U r really Amazing...Chamadumpa egg pulusu was veryyyyyy awesome...I always spend my time with ur blogspot.....

Sorry I have no idea whether pregnant women can eat this or not. Just ask your parents or inlaws. They will advice you correctly.
