UTHAPPAM




INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :


Idly batter

onion :1

carrot :1 small

coriander

curry leaves

oil


PREPARATION:


  • Take idly batter and add salt and chilly powder. Mix well.

  • Chop onion , coriander , curry leaves finely. grate carrot. mix all these in a plate.




  • Heat griddle ,grese with oil. pour laddle full of batter and pour oil around it.




  • on batter sprinkle mixed vegetables. and pour little oil on top of them.




  • put lid on the batter. after 5 mins take it out.(dont reverse). But for ur understanding of colour i just reversed 1. but u plz dont turn it reverse. The top layer should boil by using the moist of the lid.




  • ur colourful uthappam is ready to serve with any chutney.
