This is a very quick and easy snack . yesterday after my hubby returned from office , he asked me y dont u make some quick snack item with no oil but that should be crispy . Then i remembered Chudwa and i did it in 10 mins and i gave him . He was very satisfied and took them today to his office to offer his colleagues.
Preparation :-
- Take a big and wide pan or kadai . Heat it and add 2tbspns oil . Then add handful of peanuts , few broken cashews. When they are fried add 3 green chillies finely chopped , 1/2 tspn cumin seeds , 1/2tspn mustard seeds , 1tsp coriander seeds , 1 tspn sesemam seeds , hand ful of roasted bengal gram /putnalu , add hing and few curry leaves , add 1/4 tspn turmeric and 1 tspn salt . Mix nicely.
- Now add 7 electric rice cooker cups of thin poha. Stir it nicely for 5-10 mins . Finally add 1 tspn powdered sugar , mix nicely and switchoff stove after 5 mins .
- The thing that u should remember is poha should turn crisp and at the same time it should not get burnt(i mean over roasted) .
- Serve them . u can store remaining in air tight container and it will be good for a month.
