INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
Potatoes : 2 medium sized
onion : 1 big
tomato : 1 big
green chilly : 2
curd : 1 tbspn
oil : 2 tbspn
curry leaves : 10
coriander leaves : 10 strigs
coriander powder : 1/4 tspn
cumin powder : 1/4 tspn
chilly powder : 1/2 tspn
salt : 1/2 tspn
turmeric : 1/2 tspn
mint leaves : 5
Set 1 :-
coconut : 3 tbspns
cashews : 3
almond : 1
khus khus : 2tspns (dry fry )
SET 2 :-
cloves : 4
cinnamon stick : 1 inch
cardamoms : 4
star anise : 1
nut mug powder : little
garlic cloves : 6
ginger : 1 inch piece
PREPARATION:
- First boil potatoes , peel out their skin and cut into pieces.
- Chop onions, tomato, greenchillies.
- grind set 2 and set 1 separately.
- Heat a pan add oil , add set 2 grinded paste, next add onions , mint leaves , curry leaves , tomato
- When tomato is fully boiled add salt , chilly powder , coriander powder , cumin powder , turmeric . Mix well.
- Next add boiled and chopped potatoes and curd . mix well.
- After 5 mins add set 1 grinded paste and water required as per ur consistency.
- Finally add coriander and boil the curry for 15 mins and switchoff the stove.
- Aloo kurma is ready to serve with biryani or rotis.
